The founder of the theater “Ballet of Russia” choreographer Stanislav Konstantinovich Vlasov was born on August 1, 1933 in Moscow.
He studied at the Moscow Choreographic School (now the Moscow State Academy of Choreography) under the Honored Artist of the RSFSR Nikolai Tarasov.
After graduating in 1951, Vlasov was accepted into the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater.
For 20 years, the artist danced the main roles in the ballets “Walpurgis Night”, “The Flame of Paris”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “The Red Poppy”, “The Firebird”.
Masterfully mastered the art of support, Vlasov was a partner of the greatest stars of the Bolshoi, among them Nina Sorokina, Raisa Struchkova, Marina Kondratieva, Lyudmila Vlasova, Lyudmila Bogomolova, Olga Lepeshinskaya and Ekaterina Maximova.

Later Vlasov showed himself as a choreographer – on his account the ballets “Petrushka and“ Bluebeard ”.
Stanislav Konstantinovich collaborated with choreographer Vladimir Varkovitsky (1916–1974), their first joint works were “The Swan Princess” (for “Lyric Song” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, 1957), choreographic miniature “Fly, Doves” (music by Isaac Dunaevsky, 1959), choreographic miniatures “Seasons”.
In addition, in 1962, Vlasov restored Stravinsky’s ballet, staged by the famous Russian choreographer Mikhail Fokin “The Firebird”. In the same year, the artist created a number of concert numbers in the genre of duet-acrobatic dance (the composition “Based on Shadr’s sculptures”, to the music of Vano Muradeli).
In 1971, Vlasov starred in the Soviet television screening of the ballet Walpurgis Night (directed by Vladimir Grave), and a year later, completing his dancer’s career, he moved to the Mosconcert dance workshop, where he put the Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Since 1976, together with the ballerina, the new partner and his future wife, Lilia Sabitova, Vlasov has worked on the performances of “Sad Waltz” (music by Jan Sibelius), “Freedom or Death” (music by Maurice Legrand and Lalo Shifrin).
And in 1980, she organized the Moscow Chamber Ballet troupe under Rosconcert (since 1991, Ballet of Russia). In the repertoire of his troupe were individual fragments, acts and whole ballets of classical heritage. In 1987, he restored another ballet by Mikhail Fokin – “Bluebeard” to the music of Jacques Offenbach.
In 1990, Vlasov became the chief choreographer of the Muscovy Ballet Theater.
The talent of Stanislav Vlasov as a ballet dancer and choreographer was awarded awards at ballet competitions and festivals. In particular, Vlasov was awarded gold medals of the III and IV World Festivals of Youth and Students – in Berlin (1951) and Moscow (1957).
After a heart attack, the masters delivered from Cyprus to Moscow, but the doctors could not save him.
